Where do you get your flowers?
I use a couple of wholesalers in the Twin Cities. They receive flowers from a variety
of places, including South America, Holland, California, and Florida.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a deposit of half of the estimate we have agreed upon is due four months
prior to your wedding date, or a couple weeks after you reserve the date if you
reserve it with less than four months until your wedding. You can reserve a
date with me without a deposit if it is more than four months in advance, and I will remind you of the amount due as the four month
mark approaches. The final payment is due about two weeks before your wedding,
and includes any changes made since your deposit was paid (i.e.,
adding two more boutonnieres, reception table centerpieces,
etc.).
Do I need to sign a contract?
No, I do not require a contract, just the deposit. However, if you would feel
more comfortable having a written contract, I would be happy to create one for your
wedding.
Do you deliver/set up?
I do. I base my delivery fee on time and distance. I will include the delivery
in your price estimate. I set up anything that I make (i.e., put flowers on
the cake, set up reception centerpieces, church flowers, etc.). I am also willing to
set up things I have not made (i.e., votive candles you purchased around the
reception centerpieces or silk flower petals), but I will charge a
labor fee based on time.
What are your prices?
I have very competitive prices. I want you to have the most beautiful day,
without breaking your budget. Because prices depend on type of flower, style of
bouquet, season, etc., I don't have a set list of prices. However, I'd be happy
to give you a preliminary idea of price over the phone or email, if you have a

Do you do work for events other than weddings?
I advertise for weddings, so they make up most of my work. However, I am happy
to design for parties, showers, or any other needs that my customers might have.
